Simona Di Blasio

UK/EU Regulatory Affairs Coordinator

  

Simona is a postdoctoral researcher at the Royal Veterinary College in London, working on alternatives to veterinary antimicrobials for use in weaning piglets. She previously obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from King's College London, working on the development of new antimicrobial and antifungal compounds. Her scientific knowledge includes Medicinal Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry and Microbiology. Through her postdoctoral work she gained experience working on complex research studies that required collaboration with multiple teams, including regulatory teams, R&D teams, CROs and ethics committees. Over the past four years she has been involved in the design and approval of in vivo studies to be carried out in Europe and China.


Her desire is to contribute to the success of products that can improve animal and human health.
