Alhussein is a PhD researcher at the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK, focusing on intestinal disease treatments in pigs, including antibiotics, vaccines, prebiotics, probiotics, macroalgae, plant extracts, dietary fibre and bacteriophages. He holds a BSc from the University of Exeter and an MSc from the University of Oxford, with training in product, policy, and statistical analysis.
At Pda, he contributes to regulatory and product development projects, combining technical knowledge with business analysis. Based in the UK, Alhussein supports innovation in animal and human health products with a global research perspective. His fluency in Arabic besides English is of great value especially for our Middle Eastern clients.
