Dr. Jonas, based in Ottawa, Ontario area, is an Executive Business Leadership Coach. As an accomplished leadership strategist, he brings robust knowledge to leadership coaching gained over the course of more than 25 years in diverse workplace environments.
Early career aspirations secured him a staff psychologist position at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, Canada. He then taught psychology at the University of Ottawa for 10 years as an adjunct professor; and morphed to the world of business as a senior psychological consultant for several international Employee Assistance Program service providers.
Now, he guides organizations in designing and developing sustainable, high-trust corporate cultures; accomplished primarily by coaching executives in the ongoing development of their own leadership practice. Clients are seasoned executives, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders in technology and service industries. They represent entities such as The Royal Bank, HBS, MIT Sloan School of Management, HubSpot, and Bank of Hong Kong, among others.
Academically, Dr Jonas has psychology and business training rooted in Canada, the United States, and Europe. He holds a combined psychology doctorate from the University of Toronto and Argosy University of Chicago. A Wharton Business School education is coupled with an MBA from the State University of New York and an EIMBA (global business) from ESCP Europe. Additional in depth leadership study is from London Business School and Harvard University, and is focused primarily on leadership/business development in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors.
