Ronaldo is a driven and detail-oriented professional in the field of animal health products regulation. With a rich background in both academic and industrial settings, he is dedicated to developing veterinary pharmaceutical and biological solutions while addressing the challenges of global regulatory trends.
His academic journey began with a solid foundation in animal science, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2022. Now, as a second-year MSc candidate at the University of Saskatchewan, Ronaldo is focused on developing a novel pH probe to support cystic fibrosis research, demonstrating his interest for integrating innovative solutions between veterinary and human science.
Ronaldo's diverse experiences in the animal health industry began during his bachelor’s studies. He supported pharmaceutical clinical trials at Bioxen Research and Development, a prominent CRO in Brazil, and developed regulatory affairs-related projects at Ceva Animal Health. Currently seeking an international career in Canada, since 2023 Ronaldo has been working with the Canadian Animal Health Institute on a project to develop a regulatory overview of veterinary drug sales by human pharmacists across different provinces.
Driven by a passion for enhancing veterinary products and contributing to global health advancements, Ronaldo continues to seek new challenges and opportunities to make a difference. As a Global Regulatory Affairs and Product Development Associate at Paul Dick and Associates, he is excited to further contribute to the Canadian animal health industry by collaborating on business growth, development and licensing of impactful products.
