Laura has over five years of research experience, including work on skeletal muscle regeneration, muscular dystrophy, and diabetes-related complications in animal models at the University of Prince Edward Island, in addition to human clinical trial research at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. These roles developed her expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, resulting in peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
