Winnie Ntow-Boahene has a doctorate from the Royal Veterinary College, London in the department of pathobiology and population sciences. She began her undergraduate degree from the University of Kent where she studied biomedical science during which she undertook research in viral epidemiology at the Noguchi memorial Institute for medical research (NMIMR). She then completed a research masters at the Royal Veterinary College in collaboration with the University of Jordan focused on one health approaches in dairy farming. During her doctorate degree, she worked in biotech and also gained extensive venture capital experience. Her doctoral thesis was focused on developing polymeric antifungal nanoparticles for improved killing of zoonotic fungi. Winnie has significant experience in conducting scientific literature searches, scientific writing, competitive landscape analysis and due diligence.
